Anthony (Antone) Phillips is the Exchequer of the Alpha Theta Network Alumni Chapter.

 

Antone grew up on the Southside of Chicago before heading to TSU in 1978.  At TSU, he became a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, pleading on the 1979 fall line “Notorious 19” and subsequently serving as Keeper of Exchequer.

 

After initiating a career in Actuarial Science, Antone’s deep interest in all aspects of business strategy, management and operations, redirected him.  He received his MBA and became a Senior Business Consultant, helping existing and emerging businesses develop strategic solutions to address critical business challenges.

 

Antone is currently the AVP of Clinical Information Systems for AMSURG Corporation, the nationally recognized leader in strategic and operational management of ambulatory surgery centers, with 250+ locations and 2,000 physician partners across the US.  He manages the evaluation and implementation of clinical information systems, including system integration initiatives with other electronic health record (EHR) products.
